I am so grateful for excellent customer service. The kind of service where someone goes above and beyond to create a joyful and memorable experience. I call this a “Wow” customer experience.
Have you ever experienced this? I’ve decided to honor people and businesses who are truly remarkable. This happened a week ago.
I decided to meet a couple of friends (Julie and Kathleen) to celebrate my birthday at “Fleming’s” – a restaurant in Indianapolis.
From the moment we walked in to the moment we left it was a “Wow” customer experience. Fleming’s feels like “high class” and “high touch”. You can tell they pay attention to the details. I was promptly greeted by a classy, beautiful lady with a lovely accent. She seated me first and my friends showed up soon after.
At the table, the server was nice, knowledgeable and seemed to like being there. She handed me a digital wine list and menu. Here’s the “wow” part.
The manager came over to our table to check on our dining experience twice. The second time he gave me a birthday card signed by their team, a beautiful gold box of chocolates AND a $25 gift card for Fleming’s. Awesome! Totally unexpected!
And the other “wow” is Curtis! He is a bartender/mixologist. His personality is so likeable. He is always the highlight of our trip to Fleming’s! If you go there, you have to meet Curtis! You will love him. I promise.
